I want to produce a formula in Math-Mode which is something like
\pi_{film_title}(\sigma_{release_year > 2006}(film))
where film_title, release_year, and film are in verbatim
so far I was using the alltt package, but the acclaimed \sb only produces subscripts in the usual math mode font.
Any tips for that?
It seems that the "Lithuanian package" invoked by the L7x option doesn't set correctly the default typewriter type family: the following way to set up the document should work.
\usepackage[L7x]{fontenc}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[lithuanian]{babel}
\renewcommand{\ttdefault}{lmtt}
You may use the same idea as spverbatim; I also added \raggedright or several overfull boxes would be expected.

You should be able to use
\_to get_(the actual appearance depends on the font unless you have redefined\_to use a rule, but either way the markup is:
