Is it possible (and if yes, of course how) to use Greek letters within lstlisting (of the listings package)? However, \epsilon, for instance, puts of course exactly that and not a Greek epsilon.
I have read in the documentation that it is possible to write e.g. Greek comments, but that is not what I want to do. I'm using lstlisting to write EBNF and would like to use an \epsilon for "empty".
You can use caption=\relax; however, then you'll get "Listing #:" with the colon. I don't know how to remove this.
EDIT: OK, here's a nasty hack that removes the colon if the caption is \relax. It works with my version of listings, but it might not work in future versions.

The Latin Modern fonts don't have the full set of Greek letters, but only some of them.
If you need only some Greek words, you can benefit from the ucharclasses package, as shown in the example. If you need longer passages in Greek, it's convenient to load Polyglossia.

After you've chosen the font that suits you (maybe experimenting with other Greek fonts), give it directly the name of \greekfont.

texcl=<true|false>ormathescape=<true|false>to use the inline math-evironment$\epsilon$(see section 4.14 of the documentation)
