I am using classic thesis for writing my thesis and while placing tables, the tables are aligning to the left. I want the table centered. I am attaching images of the LyX code and the output. Any help is appreciated.

NB! The link to the TABLE-package at River Valey website is dead. I have not fond the TABLE-package other places. It is not on CTAN.
You can also try the package TABLE from River Valley. The package provides the following:
- include a landscape table as a float.
- format the caption exactly to the width of the table.
- some other hooks that would add a little extra vertical space around horizontal rules in the tabular.

And it seems to automatically centre the table on the page.
The error occurs because \\ is redefined by \centering (and other commands, such as \raggedright), but the problem only occurs for the final column. To fix it you can load the array package and add \arraybackslash after \centering in the cell, which restores the definition of \\.
Another option, mentioned by Gonzalo Medina in a comment, is to use \tabularnewline instead of \\ to end the row, which does not require array:
\x & \centering\y \tabularnewline
(The \arraybackslash command is simply defined as \def\arraybackslash{\let\\\tabularnewline})

Inside the table float, right click, choose Paragraph settings, and set the Alignment to Centered.
