[Tex/LaTex] Formatting resume header!

Earlier I created a resume successfully and it was easy thanks to your support 🙂 I noticed that my resume tends to be big and consume too much space and after reading some PR interview I am thinking of revisiting my resume.

Now I was trying to go for something like above but unfortunately I wasn't able to replicate the above format.

I tried using tables but I wasn't able to format the text inside it nor I was able to provide line break (in one cell- as show in address and contact above)

It'd be great if you can help me a bit since similar format is followed throughout the resume 🙂

The title is set using vertically centered tabulars, while the subsequent structure detailing experience/employment is set in a paragraph-style tabular, the width of which spans exactly \linewidth.

Use

\usepackage{fancyhdr}% http://ctan.org/pkg/fancyhdr
\pagestyle{plain}% Set default page style
\thispagestyle{fancy}% Set page style of first page

in your preamble. The plain style is set as the default page style, while \thispagestyle{fancy} (which includes the header) is set only for the first page.

In the example, fancy and plain are very similar. If they are not and you only want to remove the header rule, then you can add the following as part of your document starting on page two:

\renewcommand{\headrulewidth}{0pt}% Remove current/subsequent page style header rule

[Tex/LaTex] Creating a Resume Header

The memoir class provides a good method of creating a custom header with three parts. As set up here, the header will appear on every page as a custom letterhead. The technique is explained in the comments below.
