[Tex/LaTex] animategraphics not working on preview mac

I'm making a beamer presentation and in some slides I put animations in the following way:

\animategraphics[autoplay,loop,scale=0.7]{10}{tsanim2}{}{}}

where "tsanim2" is a pdf file.
I'm using OSX 10.9, I have a MacBook Pro Retina and I'm using Preview to show the presentation. The problem is that Preview is not able to show the animations I put, while, when using Abobe Reader, the animations work perfectly (this means that the LaTex code works). However, the quality of the presentation (images and text definitions) in Adobe Reader is not as good as in Preview.

So, the question is: is there any possibility to make Preview showing the animations in beamer presentation?

The manual of animate is quite explicit about this, as stated in the comment. If you are not satisfied with the text/graphics rendering in Adobe Reader you might want to play with its display settings: go Edit->Preferences->Page Display.

the first one is you solution
the second one tells at which slides to appear, <3-> meaning all starting from the third one
the third one is used to increase the counter beamerpause (=1 at beginning of frame) by one at each encounter
the fourth one (probably the one you would go for) sets the "increase beamerpause" as a default behaviour for all list items

Edit 1: You can also set the behaviour from the fourth example as general. All frames following \beamerdefaultoverlayspecification{<+->} will set pauses for every actionenv environment and every \item. To be in effect globally, you need to set this outside of a frame, e.g. as the first line after \begin{document}, before the first frame.

Doing this in combination with listings gives you a pretty nice solution:

This should also work with Beamer.

If you're working with a UNIX system, note that bat is Windows-only, since Windows doesn't use a 'real' shell. With UNIX, give it a .sh extension (if you want to give it one at all). You might also need to do a few more things:

Make sure the file is executable: run chmod +x myscript.sh
Give the file a shebang line:

script.sh:

#!/usr/bin/env sh
echo "Oh, the wonderful possibilities of UNIX shells."

Please note that, as of now, this solution may not always work on Windows.

Note also that the handling of run: protocols can vary from viewer to viewer. Some may not support it at all due to security risks, but it has been confirmed that Evince and Skim support it.
