[Tex/LaTex] A good memorandum template for LaTeX

Pretty much the title says it all … does anyone know of a good memorandum template (with an example maybe?).

You know, the things companies print on their text and stuff before faxing them out. It is usually composed of a letterhead on top (a logo on the left is optional), and some accounts and banking data in small letters on the bottom of the document.

In the middle, goes your text.

I'm rather unexperienced in composing LaTeX documents, but I have to make a memo and want it to look rather nice, so bear with me, if something in here sounds silly.

Do you have an example you're emulating that you can point out? Googling "latex fax cover sheet" found this page with a plain TeX template but I'm not sure if the template classifies as "rather nice."

Most sites point to the options below for formal letters:

akletter for German business letters;
newlfm for US-centric letters, faxes and memos;
dinbrief for German letters;
brief in the Dutch ntgclass bundle;
scrlttr2 in the KOMA-Script bundle.

Here is my .tex code for a formal letter or an invoice based on scrlttr2 (part of KOMA-script). I found the package flexible enough for my needs.

The labels package is excellent for this, if you want to hand-craft the layout within the card.

A rather late, and probably obvious, afterthought: although PC printers for "amateurs" generally produce consistent positioning on the page, the absolute position of the PDF sheet when printed may not match the exact boundaries of the paper. So if you're using expensive precut visiting card sheets, print a proof first, to check alignment with the actual cards.
